Q: Given the amount of the mounting evidence of climate change, do you still believe it's a hoax?

Trump: I get awards environmental awards for the way I build it for the water, the way I use the water, the sand, the mixing of the sand and the water, I mean, many different, but I've had many awards over the years for environmental, the way I've built because you know about building, that's what you do. It's very important to me... The real global warming that we have to worry about is nuclear. The water is coming up an eighth of an inch over 300 years, the ocean is gonna rise and, you know, nobody knows if that's true or not, but they're worried about the ocean rising an eighth of an inch or a quarter of an inch in 300 years

Putting those quotes makes me repeat it (in my head) in Trumps voice lol

Its the only way for it to make sense
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Not too many mentioning the shit show from Harris yesterday on her FOX interview

Maybe she should have got Brett up to sway to Ave Maria for 39 minutes instead.

I thought she did about as well as could be expected in that forum. It would the equivalent of someone on the left grilling Trump for 40 minutes on stealing children from immigrant parents, fomenting an insurrection and demanding that he answer why almost every cabinet member and staffer who has worked for him has warned the country against re-electing him. Which is why I was a little puzzled about why she did it. But then the right has set the bar for her so low that maybe she figured that as long as she came across as semi-intelligent, that she might reassure a small number of people who hate Trump but were wavering on her. She certainly wasn't there to persuade any MAGAts.

Fair fucks to her though for calling Braier out on his dishonest attempt to spin Trump's calls that the military go after the "enemy within", including people like Adam Schiff.

Also, she asked Fox to host a debate with Trump before the end of the month. Of course, he's chickening out.

Harris is useless and hasn't a clue

She dropped out before Iowa when she ran in the 2020 Democratic Primary.

She looks good and she can deliver well scripted prepared talking points but that's about it

And don't get me started about Doug who we should all be looking up to as a role model for redifining masculinity

What are you gonna do... they're both horrible choices but there are no other options and surely Harris is a better option than Trump!!!

I'm not in a swing state so my vote is irrelevant

I'm probably going to protest vote for Jill Stein

She's better than him on some matters, he's better on others

Jill Stein a big pal of Putin would be protest vote alright.

Watched the majority of that above Trump interview was pure car crash stuff. And the rally before that making a total show of himself with his weird dancing/movement on stage for half an hour. In four years time what state is he going to be in?

Of course she's a better option.

Which is not necessarily a ringing endorsement, given how appalling Trump is!

That said, I'll sleep very comfortably if she wins. She might not be the quickest on her feet, and she ran an utterly idiotic campaign pandering to extreme progressives in 2019, but she seems to be a fairly pragmatic centrist to me. I think she'd do a decent job domestically, especially if she pushes this border deal with the GOP. Foreign affairs, she'd most likely continue Biden's approach, for better or worse, depending on the front.

The other option...

Terrible choices on both sides in every country in the the west and it appears that this is by design.
Democracy is completely broken and when the house of cards fall I worry what the 'saviours' will be offering us.

From someone who doesn't see actively supporting genocide as a red line ...  ::)
