New York nurse on now, wow! Trump is saying theyíll be sorted by Easter and sheís losing the plot!

She says they are dealing with the virus in hospitals without proper PPE! How does he get away with it really?

Can't blame all of the PPE issues on Trump. Plenty of that to go around. There are a lot of people, all over the political spectrum at all levels, and among the general public too, who are going to have questions to answer on the ability or inability of hospitals to cope, whether its PPE, ventilators, staff numbers or beds. I expect that will be the same in most countries.

Doesn't mean Trump hasn't been an idiot in his response to the crisis though. He has.

But saying that the crisis will be over by Easter and there being no PPE to combat this then he's wrong, if he wants to fight it then give them the tools..

It's like sending men into battle with no guns
Anything I post is not the view of the County Board!! Nobody died in the making of this post ;-)

Your point might be valid if the entire GOP wasnít lying prostrate before Trump. Trump IS the Republican Party. There is barely an utterance or policy from him that they canít indulge and rationalize, no matter how repugnant, self-serving, bigoted or inhumane. Occasional critics like Romney and Amash are sidelined and shunned. Others end up giving up their seats as they canít win if theyíre down with Trump. There is no such lockstep in the Democratic side.

BS....see what happened during the debate when the candidates were asked if universal healthcare coverage should cover the undocumented

And as for the New Green Deal.....watch out

As her allies are readying primary challenges against Democrats who refuse to join the Green New Dealís 100 co-sponsors in Congress, Ocasio-Cortez said, ďYou donít necessarily have to replace everybody.Ē

People are as afraid of her as they are of Trump

There is a massive difference between providing healthcare to undocumented immigrants or the green new deal (much of which Biden doesn't agree with BTW), positions which would enjoy a lot of support from liberals and moderates, even if they're not central issues, and an obscure, peripheral position on the part of one candidate to publicly pay for sex change operations in prisoners. If you want to argue against the Dems and for Trump and the GOP on those counts, then go for it.

As for the fear of Warren, that must be why the Democratic base just came out and booted her, and is in the process of booting Bernie, to the side in favour of a moderate.

Haven't seen any such course adjustment from the GOP yet.

He's not helping much, that's for sure.

And most sensible people realize he's talking through his hole most of the time on this issue. Maybe enough will wake up to see that he's always talking through his hole.

Hereís what you said:

ď There is no such lockstep in the Democratic side.ď

The debates and the New Green Deal would prove your interpretation wrong

Will the Green New Deal be part of Biden's platform?

Were all of the candidates agreed on how to proceed on healthcare?

I don't think so.

FFS the right spent the winter laughing at the Dems for being all over the place in terms of the expectations of the various parts of the coalition and the general disunity. It was only when it looked like Bernie could win that a some sort of coming together around a mild, inoffensive centrist occurred.

Biden is being accused of sexual assault by a former staff member
I donít remember his stance on the Kavanaugh situation but it will be interesting to see how this shakes out in next few days , are the dems beginning to believe joe is losing it mentally and  Bernie especially with the current climate is a better bet to beat trump ?

Biden should have bragged about grabbing them by the pussy. Then evangelical conservatives would have flocked to him.

How many suits and accusations has Trump against him for sexual assault and harassment?

But if these charges are credible, Joe should be done.

Iím sure the media will treat Uncle Joe, just as fairly as they treated Justice Kavanaugh

Or maybe the public is done with it given that half the country clearly doesnít give a f**k about allegations of abuse, even when they number in the dozens and the accused has appeared on tape boasting of such.

Al Franken must be especially bitter looking back.

But hey, itís only the Republicans who are reported on.
