doire na rithe received a permanent ban earlier.

This is not an attempt for it to be reversed but he has contacted me to post to everyone to say sorry for comments. He just got giddy the odd time, usually on a Friday, and tried to wind up people and went a bit far.

He said he will email me an apology and asked me to post it up so will do later.

(This is not a piss-take, he did want to say sorry).

I thought it wasn't even him that said it.  Just someone who suggested it to him

A Farewell Statement From Doire na Raithe.

I would like to take this opportunity to bid a final farewell to all those on the board. I have been given my marching orders this afternoon for the last time. I've post my last thread, received my last pm, and opened my last topic.

These years on the board have been full of highs and lows but its the lows I would like to speak about for a moment. For I, Doire na Raithe, have a problem. A problem I have come to refer to as GAAboard self-harm.

It is an affliction that haunts you through your whole GAAboard life and only now have I been able to publicly admit to it, but alas it is much too late.

Just when you are having a quiet civilised conversation with a fellow poster you are all of a sudden overwhelmed with this compelling urge to insult him/her or to insult or degrade someone else who is not a part of the board. All in an effort to tarnish your own GAAboard reputation. Leaving you feeling ashamed and empty afterwards.

It is something I've battled with for years receiving many reprimands for my troubles. Today I went over the edge and pushed myself into GAAboard abyss, never to return.

It saddens me to think of those who have been hurt or offended by my reckless ways down the years and for this I can only apologise unreservedly. I just wish the Mods could have been more perceptive about my illness and there may have been some hope in dealing with it, rehabilitation perhaps. For I fear I am not alone in this darkness and there are other sufferers among you, it is not too late for them.

I have made my last post. Having tried on more than one occasion to aquire a different username, so as to ease my problems, I failed in getting them sanctioned and I will probably fail again.

So now the time is come and all that is left to say is goodbye.

I ain't a mod.

All the mod type with perfect English. My posts are full of spelling mistakes and unforgivable grammatical errors.

Can't believe the mods didn't chose to help him with some kind of rehabilitation at the mike sheehy clinic in seratosa springs.

At gaaboard tax layers expense we could have saved the poor bastard.
