Still wouldn't be confident we'd even get a draw but at least we don't have to go into the last game having to win.
I'd say it was a very big favour.

Maybe but I'd rather they just get the point that they need to make it certain!

Anyone watch the Miracle of Istanbul documentary on Netflix yet?
Nordie Tayto is shite

I was actually disappointed when Haaland scored last night. I'm still in two minds about whether I want Liverpool to make CL next year if it will, as it appears, guarantee Slot a reprieve. I'm just not seeing any way that he can recover this. And that is leaving out half the squad publicly backing Salah's comments.

Since March last year, the team has been completely disfunctional and he has shown no signs whatsoever that he has anything to offer in terms of improvements.

It's looking more and more like he tweaked Klopp's team and got lucky when Salah hit unplayable heights for four or five months. With Salah out of form, Trent gone, and no hard runners left up front, he's got nothing.

Yes, Jota's death has to have cast a massive shadow, but that doesn't excuse the complete lack of identify in the team.

Klopp had spells in his first two seasons when things weren't working great, especially when injuries hit, but from early on the team was always visibly building towards a system that just needed good recruitment to improve the first team and strengthen the squad.

I'm not the sharpest tool in the box, but I cannot for the life of me see what Slot is trying to achieve with this team. Apart from hoping Virgil gets on the end of a corner or Szobozlai sticks in a long range free or shot, there is no obvious, typical Liverpool-style goal. Nor is there a coherent defensive system either. Ollie Watkins was basically laughing at how easy they were to play against the other night.

FSG needs their heads examined if they proceed with this. They got lucky in 2015. It is very unlikely they will be so lucky again.

Szobozlai was one of the players liking Mo's comments.  I would be concerned that he will be looking a move next summer if Slot is kept on.

I struggle to get enthusiastic about next season with Slot in charge. The performances and quality of football have been dire and players seem to have downed tools. There may be a performance in them on Sunday with it being Mo and Robbos last games but at the moment I see a poor start to next season and scrambling around trying to sort out a mess at Halloween.

Liverpool in hindsight have made mistakes last summer going for the high profile signings in Wirtz and Isak at a significant cost.  That money would have got you a Cherki, Guehi and Semenyo and would have left around £100 million to invest in central midfield and money for a proper right back.

Mooted this the other night with my lad discussing things. Richard Hughes connection to Bournemouth and all it does not seem far fetched. I would think it would be a good appointment

Id just love a bit more aggression particularly in midfield which hopefully Iraola could sort. Haven't seen them much but boys saying Scott and that Kroupi boy both good players. Tho Kerkez has been decent nothing more. Let's see what happens eh
