It went all downhill after that first game ......

Everton well worth the point in the end even though it looked to be drifting away.

Beto finally getting a bit of service and support and took his chance well as being a total nuisance throughout.

Did he push Konate, yes but sure Konate probably pushed him plenty of times as well.

These things even themselves out over the season  ;).

Still in a relegation battle though

Quote from: Blowitupref on February 12, 2025, 09:39:03 PMEventful last ever goodison park derby. When the dust settles Liverpool remains in the box seat.

Yeah, but would have been nice to have that extra cushion given they were winning in the the third extra minute of injury time.

That said, they had to fight hard for that result in a very emotional, physical game.

Move on to the next one.
The extra 2 points cushion would have been nice with Villa away and City Away in the next few games. Can't really afford to drop many more points.
Villa especially away next Wednesday is going to be another very tough game.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed

Quote from: gallsman on February 12, 2025, 09:47:25 PMWas definitely a foul on Konate but Liverpool had several chances to clear it.

Doucoure acting the walt but Jones the bigger eejit for reacting.

There's always jostling and pushing in the box. I'd be upset if a call like that went against Liverpool.

Did he tell them to run over and scream at the WBA fans that day?

In his head it's the same thing, I'd just leave it tbh 😂😂

That was gutting tbh. Tough period coming up and how nice would it have been to start with a win. Proper blood and thunder game. Everton well worth the point and I think prob had the better chances.

I blame J70 for asking for the draw.

They can afford to drop six if Arsenal win every game. And they've still got Arsenal at Anfield.

If Liverpool are still 3-4 points clear after Newcastle at Anfield in two weeks, they'll still be in a very strong position.

Seven of their last eleven games are at Anfield.

I'd take two wins and two draws from these next four. Three wins and a draw at City would be outstanding.

None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

When you start to choke, games against average teams like Plymouth and Everton become very difficult fixtures.

RedHand88

7 points clear with 14 games to go. 8 games left to play at home.

We're fine.

Everton delighted with a draw says it all. Liverpool has to blame them selves. Some teams are gonna try and drag it down to there level and beat you (or draw) on experience. Should have concentrated on the football as a one goal lead is always dangerous.
