Ach the Liverpool fans are hurting Farrandeelin. They were odds-on for a first title in 29 years but blew a 10 point lead. You'd be a bit tetchy too in those circumstances.  Their anger will pass, it always does! They are the EPL's perrennial failure merchants ;D

ONeill

Next year for City it has to be CL. Next year for Liverpool it has to be the PL. For that reason I'd lump on Liverpool for 2019/20.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

It was supposed to be like that this year too. No reason they can't win both next year. Win the cup next weekend and they'll have won 5 of the last 6 domestic trophies.

Best premier league team would be Utd, just on titles that is

Most successful club. They had multiple "teams" that typically evolve and refresh over 3-4 years. This city team (2017-19) has bettered their league achievement s domestically by a distance two years in a row.

Be more specific in your post, the best team the premiership has seen (taking league titles as a measurement) is Utd

I think the point he was making was crystal clear.

For 85 seconds you had the title in your grasp.
Then it was taken away again
Hope you took some pics for the memories

The derby 0-0 lost ye the title

Capt Pat

Just to recap Liverpool finished 31 points ahead of United and 43 points ahead of Everton. Some of their fans are having trouble dealing with this new reality. The European cup is on its way back  home to Anfield as well.

Tabclear i think we know the point youre making and its not far off. Trouble is youve OTB the fuckwit who'll come on and ruin any chance of a sensible discussion and MR2 who in a way is even worse as hes not on the wind up just a bit of a stupid f**ker who feels he has to have an input on pretty much any topic
This seems about right

A tea-cup is about as much as has made its way there in the past 12 years...

When's the DVD coming out  ;D
Should be a top seller, maybe even outselling the 2005 one where ye qualified for the Champions league but then didn't.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Came up short, feels like shit but feel this team and manager have a few more efforts at winning this thing in the next few years.

For the pricks coming on gloating...we've been there...celebrating others failure, instead of your own success. You're trying to cover up your own teams inadequacies but deep down you would give everything to be where your rival is...how the tide has turned. (This has nothing to do with Everton, you're just a shit bitter club).

Have to say I'm not looking forward to Utd signing these 2 players...could do without another challenger for the league

I didn't know DVD was gay

Insane Bolt

If someone had said at the start of the season that Liverpool would only lose one league game but not win the title.....you would have been checking their medication. I think they need a De Bruyne or Hazard style midfielder to overtake city. Same two battling it out next season....unless Spurs add to their squad. I hope Liverpool win the CL final to have something to show for a great season.....but Ihave a nagging feeling that Spurs will nick it.

Seen a thing on Facebook earlier which sums it all up.

Man United fans cheering Man City goals while their own team are being beaten 2-0 at home against relegated Cardiff..they've become the Everton of Manchester.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Shocker! Rival fans cheering on another team thats stopping their own team from winning!

Liverpools and Utd's fixation on each other is funny and depressing at the same time, some of the stuff on social media would actually make you laugh out loud but the sniping is ulgy.

The standard this year from the top two has been impressive, but some teams also getting their act together and the points total next year wont be as high.

Good luck in the final to both teams
