Tottenham probably would have got at least a point out of that game if Lloris had played.

Would doubt that.  He might have done better on the corner for the goal but he couldn't do much about Spurs getting pressed all over the pitch and getting caught on the break repeatedly. Tactically Spurs couldn't live with Liverpool in that game.  Spurs couldn't get the time they wanted to get their main men like Erickson into the game and they ended up hitting long hopeful balls.

Tottenham were error ridden throughout that game and none more so than Vorm in goal which was highlighted on the Match of the day.  A better goalkeeper wouldn't have conceded those two goals and Tottenham should have scored twice themselves because that was a clear penalty in injury and interesting it was the same ref that gave Liverpool a very soft penalty against Crystal palace.

Far too may 'ifs' in there but I'll throw another couple in there...if Lloris was playing, and if he had dealt with the corner better do you not agree Liverpool should've received a penalty for Vertongen holding VVD back with both arms?
Not one if did I use in that last post.

Okay I thought that would've been your response. You don't know if a better goalkeeper would've saved those. Also just if they were awarded the penalty it doesn't mean it is automatically a goal...you do realize penalties can be saved or missed?

Liverpool forced the errors.  You're overlooking the load of clear chances Liverpool missed.  Game should have been out of sight.  Liverpool dominated that game.
In the after match analysis it wasn't overlooked for all Liverpool's dominance of the game only two goals was scored and both were gifts from a keeper that only played because Lloris was injured.

I know they were very bad errors by a replacement goalkeeper. Two errors on the first goal and the second goal he let the ball through his fingers. We aren't to know on the penalty because that referee wasn't as quick to point to the spot as he was for the Liverpool Crystal palace match a month ago.

Liverpool beat Spurs, they've won 5 games from 5, conceding only twice. Get over it.

Sad news for former Liverpool full back Stephen Darby. Always thought he was a decent defender, unfortunately a bit too old school in the modern wingback era.

Terrible disease. Kills most in a couple of years when they literally are no longer able to breathe or swallow. Stephen Hawking being a notable exception.

Think the Dutch lad Ricksen who played for Rangers 15 or 20 years ago has it too.

Sturridge looked very sharp in pre season, so hopefully he turns it on tonight. Very strong bench for Liverpool.
Could be plenty of goals tonight. Probably end 0-0 now that I've said that..
