That might be that today. Disappointing to drop 2 points rust we couldn't afford to.  In reality lucky defoe didnt have a chance for a hat trick of penalties as Can handball was a stonewall kick.

Missed the skipper and had one of those games where everything went straight at the big keeper
No complaints about either peno but the free that led to the second peno was very very soft. True though that Can handball should also have been a peno.
It was probably a fair result but a sickening one all the same. Chelsea beat Spuds and I can't see anyone catching them.

I think Liverpool spent less on Lallana than your team spent on Schneiderlin, Fellaini, Rojo, Blind, Depay etc.  Not surprised you're ashamed to be honest.

I'm not a Man Utd fan. Schneiderlin, Rojo, Depay have all been rubbish. Fellaini is useless in midfield. Blind has been ok

Chelsea won't keep winning from now until the end of the season but neither will Liverpool. Very disappointing not to hold onto the lead going into the last 10 minutes.  Spurs will probably roll over for Chelsea again.

Rojo is having a fine season he is finally showing the good form he displayed for Argentina in the world cup. Schneiderlin, Fellaini, Rojo, Depay never where or never will be good enough for a club like United.

Bad result for Liverpool today but it will be quickly forgotten if Liverpool win their next league game.

After today, I think Liverpool should probably be hoping Chelsea beat Spurs, as Liverpool's realistic aim is a top four spot.

Disappointing result today, but a draw was a fair result. And it was a decent xmas period overall. 44 points from 20 games is nothing to sneeze at. League winning form most years.

Dropping points to weaker teams though. 8 points lost to Bournemouth, Burnley and Sunderland.

Not sure where youre going with that?

Liverpool lose points regularly  to teams in the lower half of the table. Not soft points but likes of Chelsea get the 3 points there. Utd. are now beginning to get those housekeeping results. At the end of the year it will be interesting to see how many points the top contenders left behind against the teams in bottom half.

Youngest ever starting line-up and probably highest ever average shirt number for a starting line-up.

Youngest starting line up in Liverpool's history apparently, average age of 21. Didn't see any of it but heard it was a poor game and Plymouth just put the entire 11 behind the ball.
Play the same young team in the replay. No harm done as regards the first team XI really.
Be good for the younger lads to get another game.

At least 8 of the Liverpool players who featured were not kids. They still couldn't score a goal at home to lower League opposition who were making a 600 mile round trip.
