Gerrard was shockingly bad tonight, free kick aside. Thought Andy Townsend was going to start crying after he scored.

Very slow, but what a freekick!

GJL

Brilliant free kick. Right in the top corner. Is that the last of him in the Champions League?

Probably. At least with Liverpool!

Actually had hope after the goal. Skrtel had better movement up front than Mario! The one thing that stood out was that when Liverpool actually go after teams directly they are a threat. Rogers style of passing back.and forth doesn't work when teams just funnel men back.

Unless he takes up a referees course.

Was that Johnson cross field ball that went out of play near the end when Liverpool were on an attack?
Felt just like Aspas's corner v Chelsea last season.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Minus15

Wasn't a crossfield ball and was nothing like Aspas!

Basel deserved the result tonight and to finish second in the group. On their return to champions league only one win for Liverpool which was a late winner at home to Ludogorets not good enough.

What station do we need to turn on to see United in Europe?

Are Liverpool at least guaranteed Thursday night football?

That's the fixtures up.the left in the new year then. Sunday 3pm games not on tv ::), alongside the Spurs.

Might not be a bad thing, been poor viewing so far this season for both!
