Nice relaxing window for the reds with a few going out but nothing too get excited about.

Makes a change from last two where we hoped something was going to happen but didn't.
All the big clubs get their business done esrly.....

A lot of panic buyer going on alright but you can't underestimate the price of avoiding a relegation battle...

A few words on Borini pricing himself out of moves? In limbo now.

AZOffaly

Can loan moves be done outside the window? Borini obviously wants to stay and fight for a place, or stay and get big wages. I'm not sure what his wages are at LFC to be honest. If he wants to stay and fight for a place, then fair enough. If he's looking for a bumper pay day, then it's madness because the way to get that is to go and play well somewhere.

The BBC reporters at Man City last night claimed that Scott Sinclair's career is 'stone dead'. No interest showing in the player during the transfer window.
They were asking Danny Murphy why the likes of Scott Sinclair would go to City knowing what players he had to compete against. Murphy said:
. Your agent will tell you to take the big move and big money- 1. the chance for a big move might never come up again and 2. Take the big money now as you might get injured next week and end up working at burger kind
. As a professional athlete you always believe you can better or at least match your competition.

Did anyone hear the agent on 5 live last night who was brokering the Wellbeck deal? Quite open and frank about how the thing goes, not sure Wellbeck or his own agent would be best pleased as this bloke seemed to be a complete middle man with no connection to either club or player! It also shows where the extra few million goes in transfers, some cute boyos making a living out of it!

I heard him alright,  very open about it.  I'll tell you one thing there is a real business opportunity for anyone with a wee bit if savvy in how contracts work and the balls to go for it!

2012: Harry Redknapp reveals his QPR tight-ship vision: "I don't want to see the owners have their pants taken down like they have in the past. A lot of agents made money out of them."
2014: QPR top the Football League agents fees chart again, paying out £1.8m.

Sterling MOTM tonight.

You could make a good case that he's already England's best player at 19.

Yes he already is.

You could make a case that he is the best 19 year old in World Football.

Rodgers was quoted towards the end of the season that he was the best young player in Europe and there were a few sniggers on here. If he keeps improving and playing the way he has been then it's hard to think of anyone better at his age in Europe at least.
That's just, like your opinion man.
