Watching wee bits and bobs here - Liverpool have a very definite pattern of play. Lovren looks really solid. Sterling looks even more dangerous than last year and how Coutinho isn't a regular Brazil player is beyond me. Dortmund are poor enough and missing a load of players

Liverpool have some excellent options now from the bench and for starting XI. I think its a far stronger squad now than start of last season. With or without Suarez.
Looking forward to start of season and Southampton next week.

Lovren looks to be an excellent piece of business. Top class centre half's are a rarity, and if David Luiz is worth £50m lovren should be twice that
Scored the second goal, his pass for the first was crucial. In fact passing was crisp all day
What I liked most about him was you could see him being very vocal organising the defence

Also I expressed doubts about young manquillo on Friday. Early days but there would appear to be potential there. Very solid debut & it can't be easy for a 19yr old spaniard with a couple of days training under his belt at the club to step in and perform like that. I still don't think he is the solution but maybe I was harsh before
