I would be happy with AVB if he is given time and not fucked out next year if he doesn't get fourth.  Rodgers would be my preference, I'm sure he doesn't want to go talk with Liverpool then not get the job, would destroy his relationship with the Swansea fans.  Now if Fenway rang and said the jobs yours if you want it, I'm sure he would consider it.

All the talk is of having managers who have been there, done that. There isnt many about, and even rare is the manager who has been there and done it with a team that doesnt have the money to bankroll it

All this talk of Guardiola. He inherited the best squad of players about, and played them near enough continuously, very little squad rotation. Who is to say as a manager he is better than say Martinez?
How would Martinez have faired at Barca? Very few dispute the fact that he is a very shrewd and tactically aware manager, albeit a bit green behind the ears (whats Guardiola CV pre Barca?)
Would Guardiola have faired better with the resources and players @ his disposal in Wigan?

Are you having a bubble son trying to compare Martinez and Guardiola? Many managers have had the money and players at their disposal but have failed to achieve what Guardiola did! If they win the Copa Del Rey he will have won 14 out of 18 trophies his team have entered in. That's a ridiculous statistic and should be proof enough that Guardiola is rightly regarded as one of the best in the business!!!

What I was saying is that, you take a chance on whoever you bring in, be it either guardiola or martinez ie guardiola has only ever managed a team of world beaters, how would he fair at Liverpool? How would Martinez fair @ a team like Liverpool with more resources to hand? The thing is, you take a chance either way as nobody can know for sure. Over 'n out 

I have thought the same thing as O Gorman,  any team that has Messi, Xavi, puyol etc have got to be easy managed.  Still take him though
