Don't like the Alisson injury but I am no longer worried about Kelleher as a replacement

Winning ugly as needs done. Look at city today, Fulham should've hit at least 4. All about getting over the line & keeping the momentum!

By the evening of December 1st, we'll know a lot more about Slot's Liverpool and what he needs to work on. That's some sequence of fixtures!

Hard fought win for sure. Chelsea looked really good in midfield and are seriously improved. But goals win games and Liverpool probably just about deserved it overall, dominant as Chelsea were prior to the penalty.

Slot learned a lesson from the last international break and rested the South Americans, so maybe that disrupted things a bit early on. Right decision though.

Serious impact by Jones.

Only saw some of the first half. Chelsea well on top from the bit I watched.

Seen reports of a second penalty we didn't get. What happened?

Sanchez came out and went straight through Jones head on. Touched the ball first so it was overruled.

That sounds pretty cut and dry. What I read was VAR had a mare

There was a hand/push on Jones's back as he was going in on the Goalkeeper.

Couldn't care less. Three points in the bag!

Watched the NBC highlights on YouTube and it didn't even show the incident but anyway yes always nice to beat that lot

Didn't see the push, but the Sanchez contact was not a foul.

Thought Jones should have lashed it before that anyway.

Would tend to agree with that assessment.  We would be screaming blue murder if given against us though if a midfielder does a body tackle like that in the centre circle it's a free. Keepers have more licence.

Good 3 points, apart from the goal dominated. Team worked their socks off. Jones starting to push on. Hopefully stays injury free.

Thankfully the manager replaced Trent-Alexander. I'm pretty sure Chelsea would have scored one or two more if he had stayed on.
