More seriously though, that was brutal. Squad players just aren't good enough when the first choice are missing. Far too slow and ponderous to break down a packed defense, and on the chances they did get, no conviction whatsoever. Van Dijk could have had a hattrick on another day. The one in the first half where he inexplicably tried to square it to Firminho with the goal gaping was shocking.
