I wonder has Raheem found his way out of Milners back pocket yet.

Sterling is a headless chicken with nothing to his game other than pace. Keeping him quiet is not a noteworthy acheivement.

The 50 million Liverpool got for him is staggering for such a poor player.

"As we watch him, he looks like a man who is working for his money. A man who seems morally, physically and spiritually incapable of not giving every game every ounce of effort."

And the follow on from that bit in the last chapter:
"That cheers the heart, the same way watching a mongrel with one floppy ear, chasing a ball in a park does. In a soulless era of blacked-out windows, VIP rooms, caviar and champagne, Millie is a lovely warm, buttery, reassuring slice of toast and a mug of tea strong enough to stand a spoon up in.

Proper."

It's pretty clear you're a Man Utd fan.  Why not just admit it? Are you ashamed?

Milner's been a great signing.  Doing a great job at left back. Fantastic attitude.
I'll have a shower and then phone my brother up

A lot of BR's signings are looking better in hindsight....Milner, Origi, Firmino, Lovren, Lallana and Joe Allen at Stoke

A lot? I disagree. Lallana and Firmino were good signings, although they spent far too much on Lallana. Origi and Milner are rubbish, and Lovren has been ok.

I think Liverpool spent less on Lallana than your team spent on Schneiderlin, Fellaini, Rojo, Blind, Depay etc.  Not surprised you're ashamed to be honest.

That might be that today. Disappointing to drop 2 points rust we couldn't afford to.  In reality lucky defoe didnt have a chance for a hat trick of penalties as Can handball was a stonewall kick.

Missed the skipper and had one of those games where everything went straight at the big keeper

I may be wrong, but I would have thought that most Liverpool fans would have taken 10 points from 12 available over the festive period?
