Yessil wasn't on the bench v Sunderland. He did play in the Reserves/U21 win over Chelsea. Wasn't particularly good to be honest, good runs and good positional sense, but missed a few chances (including one sitter).

Both Morgan and Ngoo outshone him on the day.

But he has been scoring goals for Germany U19, and long term you'd expect him to be the best of those 3 striking options.

Samed Yesil has been called up to the Europa League squad for Thursday night.
I guess it's off the back of his excellent performances for Germany U21s last week.
Looks like a very good prospect and great to see him get a chance so soon.

i think he was on the bench against sunderland aswell

your right acually, he wasnt on the bench, i read that he had travelled wit the squad though.

Seen that team elswhere but had Pacheo in for Yesil.

If its along those lines, will be interesting to watch and is exactly the right type of team to be playing - mix of youth and experience. Let the experienced make a case for themselves and give the youth a chance to impress.
