yep...mind it well....he kicked a ball into the crowd and shouted..."This is for you Jason"....or words to that effect.  I remember as well that LMJ was in Lansdowne Road and got a helicopter to Slane.....hoor didnt offer us a lift though >:(

McAteer is a fool. End of story, i don't care how many times he played for Liverpool or Ireland, still doesn't negate the fact that he is a fool. A clown of monumental proportions, had an terrible affect on Tranmere as a player and an even worse one when involved with management.

I like a guy who can laugh at himself, McAteer uses all these stories himself.

After we qualified for WC2002 Finals,  Quinn told one story that they were in the tunnel lining up before coming on to the pitch for Sunderland and McAteer tries to wind up one of the Dutch players  with 'look whose not going to Hong Kong'
