Gerald, why has my wife (whose team I selected and entered) been omitted this week? Surely it couldn't be that she has overtaken Large Francis and/or AFS, and you wish to spare their embarrassment? Please correct this miscarriage of justice forthwith.

If "her" team finishes in a prize winning position then it is only right that the prize be awarded to me. To do any other would be a hollow victory for the unjust beneficiary. I myself would forego the prize if the roles were reversed.

As for hollow victories surely you coming third would be one, anyone tony i think you have bigger issues than winning this competition.  maybe getting your wife to take your name could be one.

PS As I've said previously I entered said team under her maiden name as there is a direct correspondence between her email address and maiden name. On all really important documents etc she is known proudly as Mrs Fearon

A huge rise this week (up 28 places) to the stiffly erect 130th spot Will be content with atop 100 finish considering I had only 10 on avergae of my 15 players involved throughout.

Wife still at no 6 and well poised to finish in a prize winning spot both in the GL itself and on this Board

Gl have listed posters towns instead of posters team names in the paper this week, so i will have no league update until the middle of next week as it will take me longer to update table and also i am away to london town tonight.

On looking on todays paper the top two are still the same.  i also got a email from the guy who runs GL about people who have entered multiply entries will  be disqualified from the competition.

I wonder was he reading this tread?

My wife's team and mine were entered under separate email addresses, in compliance wth the rules, and like Peter and Iris Robinson, we are totally innocent of any wrongdoing.

Besides if GL carry out their threat 90% of all entrants will be disqualified
