There's a deanes decanos on the lisburn road is very good.

Stranmillis has no real stand out eating places. They're bob and berts etc and maybe not date material... depending on whether you are trying to impress or not  ;D

2nd date lol...looking something nice but not too pretentious.  Thinking along lines of Pizza/Italian food

Deanes decanos isn't bad tbh. It's not madly priced and not overly pretentious. Struggling to think of an italian in stranmillis but there's always villa italia on university road.

Orto on Stranmillis road is brilliant for Pizza, they've recently opened a 2nd one down in the Cathedral quarter. There is a Mexican on Stranmillis called 'Number 1' it's very casual and a serious hidden gem in Belfast, the food is brilliant, it's fairly cheap and it's 'bring you own' with a small corkage free (I think 50p per bottle of beer and £3 per bottle of wine)

Holohan's Pantry next door to Villa Italia at top of University street, great we intimate place to eat good old Irish food!!

But Villa Italia or scalini's was always a firm favourite with the family

Not Lisburn Road or Strnamillis but Fratellis on Great Victoria Street is a nice spot, reasonably priced too

Grand - you should drop in the line "these Pizza places are somewhere we could bring the kids some day"....see does she spit out her Peroni beer :)

Milltown Row2

Don't be ordering spaghetti and wearing a white shirt ffs!

No farting and allow her (for now) to lift stuff off your plate, but 4 date let her know tintin isn't for sharing

Don't be ordering Peroni unless its the end of the month as its expensive! lol

Christ I've not been on a second date (with the wife that is) for yonks!!  ;D

Thanks all!

Plenty of options there and will pick one :-)

Ordinarily would have went for drinks but both doing dry jan!  Already done the coffee date too, so leaves me with less options.

Pizza express if you want a glance into the future. Mother on her phone, Da snorting Peroni off the table and kids winging doughballs everywhere lol

Milltown Row2

Its such a miserable month doing dry Jan would be torture.. Dry Feb is the best option  ;D
