And now it's strongly rumoured Usmanov is behind extra financing and backing for the stadium
Himself and Moshiri are pals

They have borrowed money against tv earnings. Not on their own but it is a dodgy enough practice if you are not in the top 8.

As for Uncle Uzzy he has been promising money for years and never ponied up. If they get planning for the new stadium then it will cost half a billion to build it. Will they have the money to build that and invest in the squad?  I somehow doubt it

A lot of clubs take out a loan over the course of the season then repay it from tv money
