going by reports hes not much of an upgrade on pickford, signed more as an experienced understudy. Evertons 2nd choice keeper before olsen was a kid from the u23s.

Pickford combines world class and catastrophic all in one game(regularly). Be better if he were replaced.

I wish the f**ker didn't decide to have the game of his life today!
Nevermind the fact he shouldn't have been on the pitch!

Bit disappointed today with our performance and a few shocking VAR decisions. Richarlison should've had a penalty when his shirt was pulled for the header that hit the post...and he clearly wins the ball for the red card. We're gonna miss him now for the next 3 games. Hopefully young Gordon gets the nod over Iwobi.

How did all the officials and VAR not see this tackle? Red card all day.
And the jersey pull on Richy when he headed it against the post.

Frustrating that to say the least. Pulls off two unbelievable saves and then a run of the mill along the ground shot spills between his arms.

Saved by VAR this time, but Ancelotti won't have forgotten it.

Midfield poor at times especially Gomez who was either caught on the ball or misplaced quite a few passes, Richarlison and Rodriguez struggled to get in the game, but luckily DCL was able to dominate wee Robertson to get the equaliser.

At least this season Everton made a game of it which is quite the step up from some of the hammerings of last season.

Wouldn't worry about James, he won't be hanging around for long anyways. He only signed a 2 year deal because that was the minimum he could get away with.
A half decent season and he'll be looking for a move next Summer.

If he stays fit he will be looking to Spain for a bigger club like Athletico to buy him...
