I think my funding goes with my boss - however I did sign a one year contract through to next june. I assume my boss is still getting paid, so maybe we should. Im not sure if my contract superceedes them wanting us out by early 09.

My first port of call is with the director of my program some time tomorrow - to see exactly where I stand - regardless of the rest of them.

Unfortunately there is a great clique in my department - and quite a dislike between that department and the one i would potentially be moving to. It would be a little like Mo Johnson. There most definitely would be a departmental dislike - and while Id be sensitive to that, Im beginning to think f**k it.

Anyways, nothing another glass of paddy's wont fix in the short term.

Happy birthday Puck!

Bad enough turning 50 last month without finding out you're 28, it only seems like yesterday that you were sitting in school.

tell us a couple of stories typ. 
preferably about him wetting himself or crying or getting beat up by girls, anything along those lines.

I faint if I crack my elbow bone off something. I learned that at school. I got beaten up by a girl at judo once - but I was fighting out of my weight category (Ah, them were the days). Ive never wet myself.
