[Note to any Southerners wishing to see a United Ireland: it comes as a job lot, not "pick and mix"!  ;)]

Pity the Brits didn't see it that way in 21.

The whole thing is shocking......a politician telling the truth.....whatever next :-\
it's 'circle the wagons time again' here comes the cavalry!

The unionists should all move into north down and antrim, and give the rest of the north to the southern government.

The only problem with this is that Casement park will be left in the 'bitter 2'!!

I yield to no-one in my distaste for the DUP
I am surprised at that statement, demonstrably you have so much in common, especially with that Nelson McCausland  ;D

Sure Adams has been saying that for years.

It's nice to know you'd be willing to forsake North Down and Antrim! That would work. Not to mention the fact that about 40% of the North's Catholics live in these areas too.

But anyway, i'm sure you're just taking the p*ss.

Back on topic however, and i have to say that Willie Hay has done his credibility no harm in the wider community, given these 2 supensions he has handed out to date. It would be nice to think that future speakers would have the same integrity were they faced with a similar situation, regardless of the party they were from or the MLA they had to reprimand.

The DUP always were a joke, a very poor sectarian bigotted joke.

We are far from a joke, at one time we were the biggest party in Northern ireland and we will be again. we are not sectarian, we have fundamental beliefs that differ completely from Roman dictat.

Please set my mind at rest and confirm that you were joking in that post  :'(
Otherwise you need help and urgently :-[

Nelson can have a wee look around his own party if he wants to find alleged acts of terrorism, there have been extracts in many books about an ex DUP MLA who was 'allegedly' involved in murdering catholics in the 70's, use parliamentary privilege if you like sure Nelson to name and shame at any time.
Wasn't that long ago one of his colleagues also got up in front of a loyalist hate mob and was supporting the man probably responsible for the single most amount of murders in the troubles.
SF and many of its members have pasts, we all know that but is the sickening hypocrisy of strands of Unionism when they choose to ignore their own colleagues alleged roles and complicity in murder when highlighting spurious stories under parliamentary privilege about others.  If he is so confident about his claims why not state them again outside the chamber?
