Did you here the drivel this man came out with yesterday about Monaghanv Derry on the radio yesterday?
He had problems explaining Gaelic Football to his American visitors because 'the ball wasn't being kicked'! Maybe he could have asked them to explain the American version...... not a lot of kicking there and when there is only one player on a team can do it!

I heard that, and I'm a big NFL fan, but John O'Shea strikes me as being a bit of an egocentric knob. I actually don't contribute to GOAL now because of him. His 'celebrity' and his 'opinions' annoy me.

Keith Barr all but told him to shut his hole.

Agreed. John O'Shea has nothing to contribute. Good luck to him with his charity work and all the rest of it but he has nothing to tell us about GAA.

Heard this as well, was wondering was it the GOAL fella. I tuned out when he started "what about the children", Jimmy Magee wasn't too far away either from telling him to shut his hole...

John O'Shea comes from a journalistic background and has always been outspoken. What he said yesterday was mild compared to his views on most of the Ulster players who have made the Irish rugby team over the last 20 years. However his GOAL organisation is still a fine charity and deserves to be supported.

Yeah O'Shea's an unbelievable egomaniac, dont know why RTE Sport let him on at all, heard him on last summer talking about changing the rules of hurling and making it a 13-man game. He's insufferable

still the best story was when kildare played dublin in the leinster championship some years ago- there was a big scrap in the tunel at HT when both teams were going off the pitch at croker. Dublin keeper john o leary decked john o shea because oshea was in the tunnel and unluckily for him had a white'goa;' tracksuit on him at the time !!!
