You get what you pay for. Personally, i've never had a problem when i've flown Ryanair and i'll generally take the risk of inconvenience to get a cheap flight.

Also, i've never went to the loo on a flight! Not a very regular traveller, but a couple of times a year. I'll be keeping my pound!

At the end of the day, people moan endlessly about Ryanair, but whether or not it's justified, people vote with their feet. 67 million of them a year.

Main Street

You'd swear that Ryanair invented cheap air travel and were on a mission from God.

This is an official Ryanair press release. The mind boggles at their official level of arrogance and abuse.

"It is Ryanair policy not to waste time and energy corresponding with idiot bloggers and Ryanair can confirm that it won't be happening again.
Lunatic bloggers can have the blog sphere all to themselves as our people are far too busy driving down the cost of air travel"

Would any of the above stop me flying with them?
No
Until they start falling out of the sky at a rate of once a month I will take my chances..

Rossie that was not the reason for my post. The odds on any of us being in an event such as those listed is still tiny, even if you flew Ryanair every day of the year.

However the management of Ryanair and the IAA are responsible for every single passenger and every single flight. For whatever reason they have come incredibly close a number of times in recent years and nothing tangible is being done. The IAA and the Irish media seem to turn a blind eye for whatever reason.

How would you or I know what is being done by the IAA or anyone else?

This is Ireland. People talk.
