Was watching "something for the weekend" this morning and got to wondering, how come not seen any GAA team tops in the photos of those who have tried out the cooking recipes, obviously as a uk programme there are lots of soccer tops. They keep banging on about soccer so people wear them to have more chance of being shown but would love to see the presenters trying to work out what GAA team jersey they where wearing, probably have trouble with Kerry and Tyrone never mind any other county team coulours.  :D

Just wondering do GAA supporters not cook, suffer too much from the night before to watch what is the best of a bad mornings viewing if not got that many channels, or are all GAA supporters off to watch teams training and not watch the programme.

Hope this in right forum, thought though it mentions GAA not really on the topic of actual games etc.

The Real Laoislad

Something for the weekend is on BBC2, jokey magazine type programme with inane interviews (Myleen Klass interviewed this morning) and cookery, basically chewing gum tv, but best of a bad bunch when can only pick up a few tv stations.

Never heard of it. Is it as bad as The One Show?

On a par with one show, though is on for longer so perhaps this makes it worse  ;D

Hopefully it's be an Armagh City final nutsy, somehow I don't think it will happen but I've been wrong before lets hope wrong again.
