I thought it was an excelent program that showed how the 36 got out. Informative and to the point. Dont understand the furore on Nolans show on Tuesday. I think even Nolan was getting pissed off by the calls coming in RE 'But what did they do to be in prison'

erm have the listeners of the Nolan show never heard of 'pow's'?

to be honest i thought it was an interesting topic, however the programme was badly made with regard to footage, still shots of towers barbed wire etc etc. It could've been a lot better. I'm also never comfortable with re constructions and i thought a lot more prisoners, prison officers etc etc couldve been involved and interviewed.
The footage of storey trying to relive past glories, at the end, with a flip chart and map to an invisible audience made him look like quite a sad figure to be fair, almost like one of these old ww2 veterans that people unfairly avoid in case they launch into their war tales.
6/10....but then again i'm no barry norman....or houdini for that matter.
