What plastics can you recycle?

Crinkly plastic e.g. plastic around flowers, Crisp packets.  Formed plastic e.g. Plastic boxes around electrical goods, trays from biscuits.  Shrink wrap from Furniture etc.

There is a lot of plastic used in wrapping of all sorts and there are recycle badges on them but what does this refer to.

Can these plastics be put in your green bin or can you bring them to your local civic amenity site?

My Civic centre accepts it all but the formed butter type plastics

If you are talking about the blue bin I think each council accepts different things so you would need to check with them.
