Just tried to live stream via internet radio the match. Due to the olympics they've decided it'd not possible because of international coverage laws. It's GAA for f**k sake, why couldn't they have argued the point to keep the live internet coverage for gaa; how does it effect China and it's bloody olympics???????????? RTE get a life

Have to agree Ardal,

Tuned in to listen to the games only to get that bloody recorded message. I don't see the problem in broadcasting the matches irrespective of the olympics...... If they were any bloody good they would have a digital radio channel fully dedicated to our national games.... 24/7 coverage of all GAA activities locally, nationally and internationally.

The GAA should include discussion of the standards of coverage by Internet, Aertel and the like in its dealings with RTE, they shouldn't be allowed treat coverage of games in an arbitrary way. If they don't wish to include the Olympics then leave the Internet stream with the GAA commentator.
