Afair McAleese's comparison was with the method of transmitting hate to a younger generation

she was not comparing the quality of the hate or the effect of that hate with the Nazis.

And as I've said before, her comparison on the transmission of hate was extremely inaccurate.

I think it was clumsy and ill-informed, and I recognise that she apologised.

I decided to join in with some of the jocularity on the thread. Big deal. Other people did likewise. As I said, I think anyone who's been aware of my posts would realise how I would think about this incident and I don't actually have to comment seriously on every thread I choose to comment on.
