And a bit of nostalgia too as it is set to be the last match in McHale park before the 10m development gets underway - to quote directly from Western People:
"While some may mourn the redevelopment of the home of Mayo GAA most fans are eagerly awaiting its reinvention as a 42,000 capacity stadium with state-of-art floodlighting and TV broadcasting facilities.
Visiting dignitaries, such as President McAleese, will be glad to know that the demolition of the current stand in favour of new ultra-modern covered seating will also result in the demise of the current "Presidential Box" - a plywood and cushion creation that is anything but presidential."
..........and looks like 'the president' will be occuping that "seat" on the day.

a couple of tickets to be won on this site by the way if anyone looking for some - www.clubmayo.ie
