JBM is in with Ger Cunningham and Seanie McGrath as selectors.

That's a pretty impressive ticket in fairness.

Seems like the perfect fit alright and Waterford clearly have the budget.

We do? We're the county that tried to hawk home advantage for the Munster final. If O'Grady comes to Waterford it won't be for the budget. Still, the pattern of events all seems a bit too cute to be coincidental.

It is, until the players decide the water in their bottles isn't at the required temperature of 8.5degC.

As far as Cork folk are concerned JBM can turn water into wine, chilling it a little should be well within his range

Your sponsors could have something to say about that.

I know all about the financial restrictions in Waterford - not being able to spring for the extra €3 for embroidery on the jerseys for the semi-final, having to get a sports shop to sponsor polo shirts at the last minute etc, but Davy wasn't driving up and down for his health and O'Grady will realise he won't get the same package outside of Limerick.

Though he said he would only take them for 1 year anyway.

He did but the I think the general feeling was after a progressive season and a good U21 team coming through he's stay on.

O'Grady for Waterford?

Done deal.

A bigger budget than Limerick with JP's backing? Doubtful.

John McIntyre might be gone tonight as well.

O'Grady would be a great choice but doubt would be interested.

Our budget defintely wouldn't stretch that far unless Pat McDonagh starts selling even more schnackboxes.

Get him up to Antrim, I admire that man a lot.
