This really is showing up this organisation and league to the farce that it is. If they can't afford to pay refs £120 per game then the whole thing must be on the edge of folding   Fingers crossed

Does anyone know what the going rate is for refs in the League of Ireland?

I know a fella who played a wee bit in the IL for a few seasons, and his team ended up in the 2nd tier/div 2/ or Championship or whatever it's called.

He was just back from an injury, and was in the squad for a game but didn't make the bench for an away game. However the manager asked him to run the line for him. He refused....and was effectivelly sacked!
