This really is showing up this organisation and league to the farce that it is. If they can't afford to pay refs £120 per game then the whole thing must be on the edge of folding :D :D  Fingers crossed ;)

Does anyone know what the going rate is for refs in the League of Ireland?

I know a fella who played a wee bit in the IL for a few seasons, and his team ended up in the 2nd tier/div 2/ or Championship or whatever it's called.

He was just back from an injury, and was in the squad for a game but didn't make the bench for an away game. However the manager asked him to run the line for him. He refused....and was effectivelly sacked!
