Plenty of examples of racism and genral thuggish behaviour...

allegations from Tevez...which Chelsea deny.......following on from Etoo's complaints of racist abuse picking out a nobody steward...which Chelsea deny... the Chairman Bruce Buck accuses his own fans of Racism &  Anti-semitism against Avram Grant.....following on from thuggish behaviour from the groundstaff when warming down....following on from the allegations which surfaced about Terry & Ledley King.........UEFA warnings etc.....Chelsea denials .....do you see a pattern emerging here?

As I've said before.  Chelsea have been elevated to the top table thru money alone.  With that position comes reponsibility, but Chelsea  time after time show the class of a division 1 club like Millwall.   I'd expect theres a few too many hangers-on from the pre-Roman days.

I haven't the time to get into everything re above, as it's old ground that I hav covered. And the bebo thing...geez. Someone who follows Chelsea is a racist. Big deal. I am a Chelsea fan with an interest in Gaelic, does that mean all the chatter in the shed these days is about the Dubs chances in 2008? Talk about tarring...

Remember 9-10 years ago, the media labeled Chelsea the foriegn club as we had no English players. Now some call us the racists club??

This is the club who over the last 10 years, has had the first black manager to win the FA Cup (11 years), a black captain, a jewish owner, a jeiwsh manager, a couple of catholic managers...I could go on.

The saddest thing is how low you've dragged me to defend the rubbish you spout. So I've gone low enough...spout whatever crap you want here on in.

Norf I never said that the team (i.e. players)  itself was racist.   I also know plenty of ppl who support Chelsea as well who aren't racist or bigoted and that will go for the vast majority of their support.   However the issue cannot be dismissed as "the same minority problem at any big club" as there's a strong right wing under current amongst the old div 1 support who regularly like to make themselves heard and their presence felt and are actively promoting their right-wing, racist, bigoted agenda.   Chelsea themselves have paid mere lip service to trying to deal with the problem, much in the same way Rangers have with anti-sectarianism yet do next to nothing to weed out the facist element other than the odd banal statement.  Bruce Buck's statement re: Grant has been one of the fw occasions anyone within has acknowledged that there is a problem.
