I see the old thread is locked.

Whats the latest, have they moved on with the building yet?
How is it looking?

The sooner the Rovers fans are shunted out to Tallaght and away from the city the better imo  ;)

Do you do any of the following

A) wake sleeping babies/dogs
B) kick wasps nests
C) Cover yourself in jam and lie on top of an ant hill ?
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

I'm sure you've broken a few rules with this one holiness - clean it out quick.

A genuine question as to the progress of the stadium, addressed to Tallaght residents or Rovers fans.
The comment re the fans was tongue in cheek.

cant see what rules were broken, if mods reckon I have I will gladly remove the offending text.

On a point of order is it not the South Dublin Council Stadium?
I was in Dublin last week and went via Tallaght to parts of Wicklow and Carlow ( I'm just getting over it now) .
I didnt notice any activity around the shell of a stand.
I presume the Council are awaiting money from the Dept of Sport and going by rumblings of reduced tax take and needs for cutbacks it might be a while before the Municipal Stadium is available for the local sports clubs in Tallaght as well as Shamrock Rovers. :D

Quotecant see what rules were broken,

I'm not trying to make trouble, but I'd have said the rules on incitement and feuding have been broken.  As an issue this has been discussed ad nauseum at this point, there's nothing to be gained by starting off again.

Billy the ban I received from engaging a certain poster had expired, although I am happy to refrain from engaging said poster. But its worth mentioning that said poster has repeatedly claimed not to be a Rovers fan, so could not be "incited" in any way by that post.
Other that a dig at Rovers fans which said poster is not one, I merely asked for an update on the stadium.
Again, if mods think I have done anything untowards I will gladly remove the offensive text.

Regarding the topic being discussed ad nasuem, that would be the court case. I was only asking about the progress of the stadium, and not in any way disputing anything from the previous court case.

I read an article in one of those local papers a couple of weeks back and it said that a Project manager had been appointed by the council and that work should start within a month on Phase One of the development.
