Back with a bang EG  :)

Of course my sincere apologies to any conwomen involved in this case  :)

"not all of the victims can be stupid/greedy etc"
This is a worrying thing imo, its been touched on by someone else also.

Lets be honest, there are some stupid people out there, this isnt their own fault, its just the level of intelligence they were born with.
But its almost been suggested here (I said almost) that its terrible for the elderly who are caught out here, but not so bad for the stupid people.

A bit cruel imo.

Before you go on the defensive EG, I did quote your comment but am not having a direct dig at you. It seems to be commonplace these days to hold similar sentiment.

This is a disgrace to have these fake competitions in the Irish News.

It used to be a paper that was respectable, this is akin to the gutter press.

I'l be buying the Irish Independant tomorrow.

Square Ball

One of my own children was delighted that he won a prize on one of these scratch cards a few weeks ago, daddy, daddy we have won a top prize and was about to ring the claim number, I explained to him how these things work, diddnt believe me at the time but he diddnt ring. Every week since we have done the scratch cards and guess what, we have won every time, strange that.

You are quite right to highlight this despicable practice Donagh, and the Irish News should publicly apologise for allowing it to happen, but dont hold your breath waiting for apology, business is business, morality is for the editorials.
