I always thought that Ballaghadereen was in Roscommon.

IT IS IN ROSCOMMON -since 1898 County Boundary changes.
However the local GAA club refused to change their affiliation ever since and so many fine footballers from Roscommon have played for the dark forces to the West of us.

It's hard on the Ros people in Ballagh -they obviously support their own club but none of them can play for their own County. - unless they are female of course.
