Lads I need your help, because I'm too embarrased to ask anyone I know!!

In the past I have always put antifreeze where the water coolant/water goes i.e - the plastic see through part.  Is this the radiator?, if not do I need to put some in the radiator?

Serious answers now lads, i don't want to wreck the yoke!

Jenny Marsey Big Knickers Save House From Fire


A Hartlepool woman's ample underwear has proved a godsend after her big knicks saved the family home from fire.


Jenny Marsey's size 18-20 cotton pants were used to put out a frying pan blaze, which started when her son and nephew were frying some bread at the house in Meryl Gardens.

Her son, John, 18, at first made the blaze worse by throwing water over the flames.

But her quick-witted nephew, Darren Lines, saved the day by grabbing a pair of his aunt's knickers from a pile of washing and using them like a fire blanket.

Mr Lines, 23, said: "I just grabbed the knickers, put them under the tap to dampen them and then used them to put the fire out.

"The extractor fan had fallen on top of the oven and then all the flames went up. The electricity had gone off and we couldn't see.

"It was just the first thing I picked up."

Mrs Marsey, 53, was out for a pub meal when the fire began on Sunday afternoon.

"I think it's funny now but at the time I was just shell-shocked," she said.

"I couldn't believe it when I found out how they stopped it."

She said the blue cotton knickers were a Marks & Spencer pair that she bought a few years ago.

"I call them my emergency ones," said the mother of four. "They're the ones you wear when you've run out of all your others!"
