Anyone heading, should be another cracking game. Outside the GAA, it has probably become the biggest sporting rivalary in the land....

I see Quinlan is out for 8 weeks great news for Leinster. Think we might win this one, would be nice to beat the turnip  munchers in their backyard  ;D

Quinlan must be one of the unluckiest player with injuries.  He's nearly on a par with Jonny at this stage !

Kick off tonight, who do you think will win Dinny?

Well if O'Neill can get away with so can I...

I think Leinster have a pack that can match the turnip munchers and we have a massive edge in midfield. This match however will be won at half-back, Willis is very raw and the genius Doc as everyone and his mother this week has been pointing is a tad mentally fragile when it comes the turnip lovers. So if and it's a big those two can perform and ROG doesn't bring his A game then it's game on. It should be a cracker, Leinster by 5......

I think we are gonna get beaten tonight. willis at number 9 just aint making the grade, unless Ollie can and super Stand Wright can pull something out of the bag we could be in alot of trouble. Knoop is a big loss for this game!

Na, don't agree, he's a good scrummager nothing more nothing less, Horan is hardly something to worry about. Whitaker is the biggest loss....

But this is gonna be a forwards game so we need our best scrmmagers, i think Stan shows great effort but out scrum appears to be at its best when Knoop and Ollie are playing (going from the Ulster game). Whitaker missing is my main reason for believing that we will lose, Willis is passing so badly at the moment by the time the DOC has got the ball moving the opposition defense is ontop of us.

To be honest his passing as been fine, it's inexperience of playing with the Doc is showing, the Doc likes to drift away and onto the ball and Willis wasn't finding him because most 10s will remain either static or attack the ball flat, the last couple of weeks training should have enabled Willis and Contepomi build on that. Willis however does take about 4 steps before passing, which is a worry and Whitakers absence will be felt in his organisational skills around the fringe in defence and attack

I think Quinlan's injury is a big blow to Munster. With him being out, they are playing a second row (Ryan) at blindside. Wallace and Leamy haven't been playing that well, so I reckon Heaslip, Keogh and Jennings will win the battle of the back rows. If Jennings can get pressure on ROG, I think Leinster will win it.

I don't think Munster can rely on 'getting to' Contempomi, he should be wise enough to it at this stage.

Having said all that, if conditions in Cork are as bad as they are here (Limerick), I would hope that Munster's more established front 8 (Ryan notwithstanding) together with O'Gara's positional kicking might swing it for Munster.

All in all, I would give a hesitant vote to Munster, and a feed of turnips afterwards. Munster 19 Leinster 13

Munster look stronger going into this game , considering how hot and cold Leinster have been blowing
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

Well lads,

Was away from the board for a few days there.

Dinny, the turnips were a bit sour in fairness.

Well done to Leinster. That was a game Leinster wouldn't have won before, bad weather, hostile crowd and a real forwards battle. O'Gara didn't play well, but Contempomi wasn't spectacular either, and him having to be moved to centre mitigated his ability to control the game, even if Sexton was fine when he came on.

No complaints from Munster. Better team on the night won, and could have easily won by more.
