ive found  drinking about 1.5 to 2 litres of water just after you get home before you go to sleep, really reduces the severity of the hangover.

One that works for me is to drink a bottle of water with every third pint , definitely reduces the severity of the hangover

Seeing someone meet a gruesome end e.g. run over by a steamroller usually sobers you up pretty fast.
