Have a strange tingling sensation in my left side, at belly button level. Not painful but there for a few months, was at the doc and he did some tests, found nothing strange. Now wants to do a colonoscopy, I will have to have it but not for a few weeks, anyone had similar or want to guess what this may be.
Otherwise healthy, no pains just this thing which I am aware of 70% of the time.

if the doc found nothing strange i wouldnt think too much about it. could be something as simple as a trapped nerve...

Fishbat

Doc is most probably checking for Colitis or Crohns - best getting it looked at anyways.

Go easy on naming diseases.

Left side, constant enough low grade pain?
It's likely the Doc is looking for confirmation of some swelling or a little bulge in the colon.
Long term remedy for that is diet related, have good digestion, regular stools, things like that.

I had the same last kind. Well kind of. Every now and again, I would a sharp pain in my stomach, well sever. I would stop what I was doing and bend over as it was that sore. Then there was a hard lump that would form on my stomach. This only lasted a few moments. Afterwards, everything was hunky dory again.

I was carrying a little extra weight, so I went to a personal trainer to lose it. Haven't had the pains again.
