You've tried to bring the British and US into this several times and I'd probably agree with you on everything you've to say about that however it has little to do with this topic. 

Storys like this get us all fired up. These types of storys are what is getting all those mad wans fired up out in Sudan. Lets just be carefull is all.

   It's no secret that the goal of the hard-line Islamist is to banish the Christian and Jewish faiths, they have made no
bones about telling us in fact, they have figured out with the help of harmless caring groups such as the ACLU, CAIR and the likes
how to use our own judicial system, media and political correctness against us to undermine and break the spirit of the free world.
The constant threat of terror, dirty bombs, WMD's etc are nothing short of smokescreens as to how they're really gaining ground
towards their goal.
Why would there be another 9/11 FFS, sure that would only stand to rile the troops again so to speak, no not at all, they have us sheep
exactly where they want us!  Hope i didn't offend anyone with this post
 

What has something like the ACLU got to do with this? Would you prefer a country where there was no guarantees of individual rights?



If the US federal, state and local governments did everything within the limits of the constitution, there wouldn't be much need for advocates like the ACLU.

I personally see nothing to fear in allowing muslims to speak about and practise their religious or political views, as long as I can condemn them if I see fit, and they aren't allowed to advance to the point where their religious views become policy which will detrimentally affect other people's lives.

What has something like the ACLU got to do with this? Would you prefer a country where there was no guarantees of individual rights?

No, i have no problem at all with a gaurantee of individual rights, however their track record has shown that they tend to go out of their way to defend everything
and everybody that's doesn't stand for what this country was built upon,  Who's defending me as a citizen in defense of the detriment of my country?

Yes, the ACLU have defended the rights of some dodgy groups to free speech or whatever. That is not the same as endorsing the views of those groups. I abhor white supremacy, but I think people have a right to advocate those views, and I would have no issue with the ACLU defending those rights.

I don't know enough (anything really!) about CAIR to comment, although a very brief scan of the wikipedia entry suggests that some are alleging that they are a NORAID type of group with ties to paramilitaries.

Why would the ACLU be on my back for condemning muslim views? I would expect them on my back if I was preventing muslims from expressing their views, certainly.

How and where are muslim religious views becoming public policy? Is porn being criminalized? Are we being forced to face Mecca five times a day? Are women being forced to hide their curves?

Please, spare me the "sheep" horseshit. I said that I knew little about them (I've heard the right-wing talkshow hosts refer to them but I tend to take a skeptical view of their pronouncements, which is not to say that they never raise serious issues) and had only glanced over the wiki entry. NORAID had plenty of accusers who said that they were a front for the IRA - isn't the equivalent being said about CAIR?

I couldn't care less if CAIR want to preach and convert people to Islam. Good luck to them. If they are raising money for terrorism and sponsoring such activities, then the authorities should be doing their jobs. If they want to introduce sharia law to the west, they'll be in for a big disappointment.
