What was the nature of the injury - hope he is ok  -

lads is it me or is there far more players in all sports collapsing and even dying with defects these days than a decade or two ago.
Think it should be made mandatory that every player who steps on a GAA pitch has been screened,but its probably not financially possible.

This was a result of a bad knock to the chest he got during the game. Wasn't a underlying heart problem he had.

Re Screening.  The Seville player had been screened, the Leicester player had goe thrugh a full medical.  The cause of these collapses needs to be found out and then the proper tests done.

Read an article in the Sunday Independent (I was at home, didn't buy the paper) which didn't think screening would do much good.  What has been the findings of any studies the the GAA or Cormac McAnnalen Trust has instigated?
