Sure they bring in water charges here, and somehow end up owing money, not finance the public purse.

Thames water like a lot of these privatised companies took on huge debts to pay for "infrastructure" improvements all in the while paying out big dividends to their shareholders who can now walk away from this debt scot free as us tax payers will now come in and re-nationalise them, only for them to be privatised again once their debts are sorted and the whole shit show begins again.

Same with the UK Railways.

The laws are written by the rich for the rich, but look over there, someones claiming benefits whilst working, shame on them, the scroungers.

A scrounger is still a scrounger no matter what, the problem is not going after the big fat cat scroungers who have been ripping people off for years, better still, they are getting voted in by the those complaining of getting ripped off by those in government!!
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Ai but why is a scrounger who some would perceive is robbing in the manner of thousands portrayed to be so much worse than say your woman Mone or some of those tory cronies who got covid contracts with zero knowhow of PPE equipment... Then there's the expenses that are in hundreds of k a year per politician paying their own bills and subsidising their own dinners etc.

The big fat cat scroungers are the ones making the laws though, what do you do about that?

Corbyn was campaigning on a radical, socialist ticket and had everything thrown at him from the media, the lobbying groups and even from within his own party.

That's what I've put in my post, these brain dead voters are always voting in these self serving parasites and then complain!

The radical change would need to be that these MP's and ministers will get a jail sentence if found to be making money of the back of anything outside of their actual job of running the country, you'd see a right few public school kids changing their career path off the back of it

In a UK wide context, who do you vote for? Starmers Labour won't tackle the tax avoidance, siphoning off of dividends in utilities etc etc, heck he was even at Murdocks garden party, he's bought and paid for by the establishment.

IF (big) SF do get into power in the Dáil it'll be interesting to see how far they go with their socialist agenda as being in opposition is very different to actually having your hands on the levers of power.

I know, but actually holding them to account and investigating all links to billionaires and bringing charges that are upheld if found guilty will, at the very least make them think twice.
This is the most unlikeable government period I've ever had the misfortune to live through, and I lived a good chuck of them through Thatcher!
