Think I've been struggling with something similar lads, for the last year or so I've had a pain in my hip area i could play with it and not really feel it during games/ training. my problem was in the days after, there have been times I've really struggled getting out of bed in the morning and trying to move the leg left me in a lot of pain. I could feel just right in my hip joint and when i applied pressure it was extremely painful. I was struggling along and then about a month or so ago i fell awkwardly on my back and the pain seemed to go away but the next day i woke up and my whole right side of my body from my lower back right down to my toes felt numb and i found even walking difficult and felt like id no control over my right leg. went to the physio and he said he thought it was sciatica but I'm not convinced. even now i cant seem to feel much in my right leg, for example got a bath the other day, left leg felt roasted and couldn't feel much on my right. sounds really strange but wondering if anyone has had anything similar.

Osteitis pubis can be caused by a hip impingement/laberal tear due to instability in the hip.

I had an MRA which diagnosed the impingement and tear. from the MRI i could also see the OP where the left side of my pubic symphysis was white with swelling and the right side was clear. This is consistent to the pain I get after a game or training.

Iv'e a strange one. I've stopped playing 4-5 years now but still train quite vigorously during the week and try to get a bit of cycling done at weekends, i get a groin strain for no apparent reason about 3-4 times a year which lasts about 2-3 weeks and then goes but guarantees to make an appearance soon. It's weird that it comes on me gradually as i'll know in a about 4-5 days or week that i'll have it coming, from i stopped playing and the injuries over the years my two groins are very stiff with little to no flexibility in them.

An educated guess is telling me the rigid groins are probably the cause but don't know how this can be rectified...Stretching, Pilates, Physio, Surgery (last resort). I'm sitting here at my desk in work with one bum cheek on the chair and the left leg stretched out to relieve the pain...Bastid.
I can swim a little but i can't fly an inch

Try Yoga.
It made a world of difference to me
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Anyone experience off heading abroad for this operation?

To Lloyd in Leicester or Marsh at the Gilmore clinic. Another one is Muschaweck who is based in Munich but does flying visits to London and Birmingham for consultations and surgery?
