There was a good sound byte in the documentary along the lines that hope and optimism (a la the Obama campaign) have been replaced by fear and hate. I'm amazed the acronym FISH has never been coined as a political slogan. Fear, Ignorance, Stupidity and Hatred are what the likes of Trump, Farrage, etc. are selling and what they make their political fortunes from.

It would make for some great banners at  rallies.

People seem to be stating his business acumen as a reason why they would vote for him.
I think that is a complete joke tbh. The man made millions starting off with millions. If I had millions id make millions as well! Only I wouldn't go bankrupt and have to start again which seems to be what happened to him (Im not sure on the complete ins & outs of this).

It's a lesson in hate speech and propaganda. They showed it clearly last night. His publlic appearances are pep rallies for the wall and anti Muslim sentiment while he has no real policies or plan for what he's going to do when he gets into power.

Everyone who is running against him is weak and a loser which makes the nutters think he's strong when in reality he's not. I read a great analogy about him "A student who hasn't read the book but is convinced he can ace the test". . . The biggest and easiest one to take on is the military. He says he's going to rebuild the US military so they are so big that we never have to use it. The US military is the biggest and best in the World by some distance what exactly is he going to do to change that?!!

I'm getting more worried by the day that his empty rhetoric is going to win him the Nomination and then the Presidency and these are scary times if that is the case!!!

In terms of being a left wing 'nut' I wouldn't be sure about that I'm fairly Capitalist in my views ao would be more centre than that although were I living in America I'd be a democrat.

Having said that neither Hilary or Bernie are really persuading me that they should be the leader of the free world. The more I read about Bloomberg the more i think he should do it. A savvy Businessman with experience of running a big administration. The fact he cultivated a bipartisan administration in NY gives me hope that he can being American Politics back to the centre so people stop focussing politics on the loony bins to the left and right!!!
