The time has come to get rid of SKY. Paying £60 plus a month and not really worth it to be honest. I do have the sports package  but its really only the football I would watch and no other sports.
I am led too believe YOU VIEW+ is just as good and a lot cheaper.
I do have  few questions regards YOU VIEW+

1. Is there an alternative you can use for it to watch on other TVs in other rooms around the house? I currently have the magic eye to watch SKY TV in other rooms

2. I take it I need an outdoor TV Aerial and that the satellite dish can't be used?

Ring Sky,threaten to cancel,they'll give you a discount.Never fails

You do need an outside aerial. Not sure about multi room. I got Netflix with it and would mostly use that as the BT on its own is pretty poor. With Netflix 14 a month. A massive saving.

sky magic eye wont work, you will need something like this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mercury-350-111-12V-250mA-Modulator/dp/B000M6SMKW

however this doesn't allow the channels to be changed in the other rooms. if you do need to - you will need an IR extender kit as well.

Excuse my lack of knowledge on this current issue and the technology in the world today!

I currently have a SKY HD box in the sunroom and I have a magic eye in two other rooms in the house to watch here also but it is always the same channel. I have a splitter box in the attic to allow this to happen.

So if I go for the BT YOUVIEW+ will any of these things be of any use to me? Or will I have to get

1. MODULATOR BOX (Is this necessary and what is its purpose?)

2. IR EXTENDER KIT ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cablesson-Ivuna-Flex-IR-Adapter/dp/B00SHTQL9A/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top )

Anything else required? I take it I could install all these myself and don't need a technician to do it?

I tried that Tony and told them if I didn't get the same deal as I was on in my first year that i'll be cancelling...guess what? I no longer have SKY TV...lol. anyway I bought a Sky box off Ali Express (£40) and a CAM line (£10 per year) there and i'm watching all the sport and films I want...

Excuse my ignorance but could you explain this to me in more detail? I'd be very interested..  Just got rid of sky as I could not see the value in paying £800 odd a year but would like to still have sports etc..
