Yeah I saw it.
I found it a bit disturbing alright.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

I was a bit irked by it as well. Legally I'd have thought they were on shaky grounds although some cop seemed to be supporting them.

What's shakey about it?

It was an excellent documentary and it exposes how under-funded the whole area is. Also didn't feel particularly sorry for the paedophile who committed suicide, he brought the sword down on himself in more ways than one. Would his wife really have wanted him to be near their child had he lived anyways? Kind of detracted from her point about the child growing up without a father.

These sorts of things fester and grow in silence, something we should know more intimately than most. Shining a light is hardly that controversial an act. Outing these people is a more meaningful punishment than what the courts mete out.

The Stinson lad is part demented, part born-again. Overall he's doing a public service.

He isn't. The law is there for that. It's lurid TV and it doesn't protect children.
Abuse continues down the generations and he's doing nothing to stop the process. If there was a similar show in Ireland would it stop abuse happening? Of course not. Most child abuse  is insidious and happens in families far away from the eyes of outsiders. This clown would never have caught Fiona Doyle's respectable father.
Driving people to suicide for the sake of TV has nothing to recommend it.

Something similar- Sky news track down a women suspected of trolling the McCanns and she is found dead in a hotel after being forced to leave her home

Is being a troll a death sentence?

Seafoid, I enjoy you most of your posts. But can I suggest you edit your last one please?

Its funny the people on here disagreeing with what this man is doing. There is thousands of pounds spent on adverts on safer driving and drink driving etc and you have people saying if it saves one life it will be worth it. Well i reckon this website of his has achieved at least that. So what if he maybe after some fame or it is somewhat disturbing to some, if it saves another child it will be worth it.

o be honest i worry more about people who see paedophilia as an area for entertainment. i wonder what is their obsession?

as as for the thought that it doesn't matter how much it costs as long as one Person is saved is extremely naive. if a €1000000 on  saving one person . do you not think with a little though  many more could be saved but maybe not in such a self righeous  and Public manner,
If you make yourself understood, you're always speaking well. Moliere
