Spotify is a new way to enjoy music. Simply download and install, before you know it you'll be singing along to the genre, artist or song of your choice. With Spotify you are never far away from the song you want.

Brilliant service and is free. Ad-Funded(Audio AD about every 10 songs)

2 cons are that music can't be saved and transferred MP3 players and that it doesn't work in the free state.

  • Go to spotify.com
  • Select the download tab at the top of the page
  • Download software
  • Log in under username:gaaboard and password:password or alternatively make your own free account

I know I am usually way behind on these things, but Spotify is the business.

That is all.

It is fantastic, I havent bought a CD in ages, you can sync it with your phone too. I pay the subscription tenner a month, well worth it imo.

I am currently on my free 30 day trial.  It is absolutely brilliant.

I take it that at the end of the 30 days I have two choices.  Pay £10 a month and get everything without adverts or pay a lesser amount and still have adverts.  Is this correct?

agreed.

Share the subscription with a few family members - only one device can stream at a time, but under the 10er a month you can download a massive playlist to multiple devices, turn the spotify offline, and then everyone can then play what they want.

With phones these days its easy to plug/bluetooth them into a pair of speakers/car system so means like Charlie i havent bought or burnt a CD in years.

Also recommend the TuneIn radio app for mobiles - all local/national/international radio stations streamed plus podcasts, and a lot of stations are genre based (eg classic rock) if you want music of a certain kind.
Somewhere, somehow, someone's going to pay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPhISgw3I2w

Mightnt be practical but saying as the 10er a month allows you to download to max number of 3 different devices, you could offer to share the cost with someone. cant stream it at the same time as each other but you can download the playlist/s as i said and one person can turn it offline on their phone/tablet (i.e. can still play the downloaded music but cant search/stream new music)

What about posting up the weird and wonderful tracks that you've found on Spotify that would never be heard on the mainstream that deserve a wider lsitening audience?

Just got spotify there myself this week too.
Bought one of those Sonos Play 1 yokes that came out a few weeks ago. I can see why people have a few of those sonos devices about the house.

Great bit of kit, and Spotify definitely makes it even better.

Linkbox

Great job altogether.

;D This is so bad its good. As its live...you do get a bit of understanding about the audience perception of America's positive influence and level of sucess in this part of the world.

'Mister Bush got on the phone with Eyerack and Eyeran, and said now, you sons of bitches better not be doing any business with that Taliban'

Gotta love the yanks

Great the way it leads you to stuff you'd never hear of. That Tunein Radio is a great way of finding new things to lsten to as well.
