As mentioned its not performance enhancing so whats the problem?  As for hiding other drugs, I'm sure he is tested rigorously enough (did his coach not come out recently saying he had 1500 clean tests).  I am sure Phelps isn't at this craic every week or when hes in competitive action either.

He smoked Cannabis and it doesn't show up on any tests, doesn't say much for the 1500 tests.  Very suspicious.
There are no proofs, only opinions.

It happened after the Olympics and out of season, do they test all year round?

these drug tests can be fooled as per Marrion Jones the US runner.
She admitted that she used performance enhancing drugs for years and dispite numerous drug tests was only found out when she came out and admitted taking drugs herself

Dick Pound, chairman of the World Anti-Doping Agency. "The fact that she was using the performance-enhancing drugs is not a surprise. People suspected strongly or knew, but couldn't prove the use.

The fact that the anti doping agency knew she was taking drugs and still couldn't prove it  shows just how flawed these tests are

Have never heard of him.
He must be famous though as nobody on the thread described who he is.

How big is the rock your living under?  ???
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

We take great delight in our own company
And we have no desire strange places to see
Although that your offers are charming
You been smoking Phelps blow pipe by any chance?

THe "baddies" are always a few steps ahead of the goodies. If he has had 1500 tests, i wonder if he had any after this happened and what the results were?
As far as i can remember, they carry too piss samples for every test. test one and keep the other. If his other samples after the time of him doing this are found to be clean. I shows hes has a masking agent in his system, And his second samples from after his gold medals will have to be looked at....

I love what this fella done, id be gutted if was on something a bit more serious.

Didn't the canadian snowboarding gold medallist in 2000 test positive for cannibis.  They let him keep the medal after the silver medalist refused the gold and said it didnt give him a competitive advantage?
